A rebrand to express the full potential of an executive placement firm

What They Were Up Against:

When 180one approached us, the initial "ask" was for us to help the company launch a new website. The company's overall web presence felt a lot like the hundred other executive recruiting and placement agencies out there. Because the website is the face of the brand, we knew a "make-it-look-pretty" approach wouldn't deliver the results the client was seeking. What 180one really needed was a rethink of its brand strategy — an effort that would ultimately inform and guide the website and all other communications. 

What We Did:

Speak! led 180one through a "message-first" rebrand effort. We conducted a series of executive and customer interviews to learn what was different about 180one's approach to recruitment. A recurring theme of the conversations was whereas most firms are stodgy and stuffy, 180one is incredibly approachable and its people pour their heart and soul into every hire. Our core expression of this experience-driven approach was "Higher Level Hiring." The beauty of the statement is that it creates a double entendre, capturing the firm's proven, elevated methodology as well as it's focus on high-level executive talent.
